Casa Camila

Project Description:
Residence design for a couple that loves art, and architecture.
In this house we achieved joining ample spaces with a correct sense of lighting. The
management of different types of textures through natural materials like stone, stone ashlar,
marble, and concrete.
We also included a great wall of yellow apparent stone, characteristic of the Punta Mita style.
This wall separates the garage area, which has to be open due to regulations by the private
housing development. It also separates the outer anteroom that is conformed by a water

mirror that is before to the entrance, generating privacy to the interior of the home the water
mirror begins at this space and continues into the interior under the stairs.
The intention of the stairs zone was that it begins from the water mirror that has steps of
marble without elevation, to create the sensation of floating up to the upper floor through to a
large living room area with double heights and tempered glass, suspended to the main façade
with view to the apparent stone wall.
Life and architecture are not conceivable without the existence of light, since it is what gives life
and space its meaning. When the living and eating spaces have big crystal surfaces that allow
the view of the outside, you can establish a continuity between the interior and the exterior, as
well as allowing the enjoyment of the landscape design and favoring the entrance of natural
light: these vital frames give the sensation of comfort and warmth to the user.
